Marriage is all about love and compromise. Here is a couple who has mastered the art of married life partially. Things move well until they attain parenthood status. Since both of the parents are working they had to compromise on their professional life to take care of their kid. This springs up trouble in their married life. Interestingly a dog comes to their rescue.. Since more number of dog centric movies have won the cheers of Hollywood audience, director David Frankel thought of making a movie based on the bestseller by journalist John Grogan.
Plot of the Movie
John (Owen Wilson) and Jenny (Jennifer Aniston) works as journalists in South Florida. Both are very ambitious in their professional life and they love each other. They adopt a dog and names it as Marley. Marley exhibits more greater qualities than of a dog. John (Owen Wilson) and Jenny (Jennifer Aniston) recognises the extraordinary talent of their dog and regards him as a lovable' hound from hell.
