Plot of the movie:
Abhiram (Sharvanand) is the son of a popular business magnate. He gets attracted by the beauty of Janaki (Kamalinee Mukherjee) and falls in love with her. Janaki (Kamalinee Mukherjee) reciprocates her love. But the way both the lovers perceive the world divides them. Their attitude towards life sets them apart.Janaki (Kamalinee Mukherjee) is an ardent social worker who helps the poor to the core and Abhiram (Sharvanand) is exactly opposite to this. Abhiram (Sharvanand) tries to change his lover's attitude and this separates them in their life.

They try to forget each other but their attempts end in vain. Abhiram (Sharvanand) ventures in search of her. He comes across 'Vetti'Velu (Ravikrishna),the key character in the movie. 'Vetti'Velu (Ravikrishna) is an orphan and steals things for his survival and helps others also. 'Vetti'Velu (Ravikrishna) also joins Abhiram (Sharvanand) in his search for his lady love. The events faced during the journey turns out to be an eye opener for Abhiram (Sharvanand). His narrow mindedness vanishes in thin air and he wears the skin of broadmindedness and his entire attitude towards life changes in a positive way.
Abhiram (Sharvanand) meets Janaki (Kamalinee Mukherjee) and steals her heart eternally with his dramatic change in character.
