Plot of the Movie
Kung Fu Panda is a refreshing treat to animation movie lovers. One can't just stop adoring the panda, Po. Awesome movie with good visualization.

Flashing across the screen with superb artwork, Kung Fu Panda sets itself apart from the modern domestic animation trend with its sheer beauty. This film is one of the most wonderful animation films Hollywood has produced since the Disney age. The screen is splendidly filled with backgrounds of mountain vistas and fluttering leaves that give Zhang Yimou a run for his money. It makes it all the more funnier to have the panda, Po (voice by Jack Black), coming through the ancient Chinese landscapes.

Po wants to be a kung fu master but is    stuck instead working at the noodle shop run by his father,a tender-hearted goose (voice by James Hong) whose real relationship to Po is left unexplained. Po's village comprising animals like rabbits and pigs, is threatened by the return of the dreaded snow leopard villain Tai Lung (voice by Ian McShane). Fortunately for Po, there's a kung fu temple called the Jade Palace high above the village, where the aging master Oogway has deemed that Po is in fact not a lazy shirker but the Dragon Warrior who will save the village.

Standing at first between Po and his future is not Tai Lung but the star pupils at the Jade Palace, kung fu animal superstars composed of Tigress (voice by Angelina Jolie), Crane (voice by David Cross), Mantis (voice by Seth Rogen), Viper (voice by Lucy Liu), and Monkey (voice by Jackie voice by Chan). Po is trained by master Shifu, a red panda (Dustin Hoffman).Po learns the true meaning of courage particularly after the  merciless Tai Lung shows up.

Po's journey to martial arts is modelled on old Jackie Chan-style films like Drunken Master (the fighting style that Po eventually takes on is actually a variation of that used by Chan), where family unity and service to the community is prized above all.

The fights and jokes keep coming at a good pace. Black's voice for Po is apt and makes him stand out from other animated heroes. Black even gets to utter a trademark phrase: "There is no charge for awesomeness."

The entire movie is shown as a flashback with Raghuraman (Prakash raj) reminiscing the story to Sudhakar (Prithviraj). The entire movie has been well thought of in terms of the love and affection between a father and daughter. In every stage of Abhi's (Trisha) life, the father does not change the way he thinks about her. It Traces the bonding between a father and a daughter from the time she is born.

Prakash Raj portrays his role so well that one feels he is living through the story. Raghuraman’s wife, Anu, played by Aishwarya supports his character perfectly. Through this movie, Trisha  has given her best performance till date. A must watch movie for the parents who love their daughters but for others it may be just another movie.
Prithviraj has made a very special appearance in this movie.

is third part of Underworld series of movies.

Plot of the Movie:
Viktor, the emperor of Vampires takes a Lycan to his home by killing his mother. Lycans have the ability to change their appearance to wolf and get back to human form.

Time passed on quickly and Lycan grows up. Viktor has a gorgeous daughter named Sonja and she deveops an attraction towards the handsome Lycan. During that time the humans in that area approached Viktor to salvage them from ferocious wild werewolves. Sonja makes a decision to protect the human population from werewolves, she sets out to guard them. Lycan smelled danger to his lover and went to the place where Sonja was fighting the werewolves. Lucian after seeing the dangerous werewolves immediatley takes off his collar to change into Lycan, by seeing this werewolves retreated. Emperor Victor felt happy with Lycon for saving his daughter, but punished Lycon for violating his command of "not to change into Lycan." Lycan was whipped 30 times with a bladed whip and jailed.

Very soon Lycan escapes from the prision and destroys many vampires and frees the jailed Lycans. Viktor comes to know that his daughter has an illegal realtionship with Lycon and imprisons her. Hearing this Lycan rushes to release her. Sonja find her in a situation to fight her father, she discloses him that she is carrying the child of Lycon. Viktor overpowers her with his sword and locks both Sonja and Lycan in prision. Viktor executes his daughter but Lycan manages to escape. In the end Lycon kills Viktor and declares this victory as only the beginning.

The movie ends with a scene of showing viktor alive thereby signalling the arrival of Part-Iv.

Villu

Villu is the latest movie of Vijay and it was directed by the great dancer "Prabudeva." Villu is a remake of a bollywood hit movie.

The story of Villu dates back to 1980's where the son avenges the death of his parents by gangsters. The way in which the movie is taken fills the heart of the modern day movie loving visitors with great fun and entertainment.

Vijay performs a dual role in this movie; one as a father and the other as a son. Major Saravanan (Vijay's father) finds his death in the hands of Prakash Raj who plays the role of an international criminal and arms supplier. JD (Prakashraj) kills father Vijay for not allowing him to sell arms to Ultras and labels him as anti-national to the whole world. Pughazh (Vijay) son of Major Saravanan vows to kill the murderers of his father and prove his innocence.

Joseph (Manoj K Jayan) helps Vijay in his search for the crooks. Vijay happens to meet Jhanvi (Nayantara)  at a wedding and falls in love with her. Nayantara reciprocates his love. Vijay comes to know that Nayantara is the daughter of the cruel gangster, Prakash Raj. Vijay flies to Germany to confront Prakash Raj and take him back to India to wipe his father's tarnished image.  Vijay starts eradicating his gang members one by one. Vijay spares Prakash Raj in Germany and lures him to India to prove his father's innocence. Vijay clears the bad name wrapped on his father and eliminates Prakash Raj.

Nayantara has played a glamerous role and showed stinginess towards the size of the clothes. Vijay, a master of comedy, action and romance has showcased his talent as usual in a pleasing manner.

The movie opens with an aged Surya succumbing to throat cancer. The news is then conveyed to his son, played by Surya again, who is on a defence operation somewhere in Kashmir. The rest of the movie is the son’s reminiscence of his father. What a fantastic dad he had had! The story is narrated through beautiful sequences – the time his father had met his mother in college (as told to him by his mother) and the innovative way he had made known his love for her – his birth and the way he had always looked up to his dad as a real hero – his sister's birth and the happy little family that they were – his adolescence – his adventures – his love

Surya's adolescent days look quite refreshing. The antics he indulges in once he sees Meghna (Sameera Reddy) on a night train and his acts of trying to woo her, gets across to the audience very well. An unfortunate incident happens and Meghna dies.

A reckless Surya then starts smoking, drinking and becomes a drug addict. His parents take care of him through these torrid times. His parents even want him to go away somewhere so that he can overcome his grief. Surya walks the streets of Kashmir and Delhi and even indulges in daring acts like rescuing a kidnapped child. Then he joins the armed forces. After six years in the armed forces, he becomes a major and also has loving thoughts of a girl (Priya played by Divya Spandana) he had known for a long time but had really not given any kind of attention to. Does time wither away the association they had had?

The flashes of reminiscence stops and reality dawns….he is part of the rescue mission now, fighting terrorists….
The earthly presence of his father might have gone away forever….but will always have a place in his heart….probably thoughts that Gautham Vasudev Menon has….

Surya the actor rocks throughout. The variety of emotions he has portrayed is very good and a strong mention has to be made about his good looks and charm. He looks unbelievably like a person in his early twenties in some sequences that require him to be so. Something very few actors can really do.

Gautham has derived inspiration for Vaaranam Aayiram from his own life and hence the movie is by and large close to real life with only very few scenes seeming out of place. There are touching and heart-warming moments in the movie; however, they are few and far between. Like the scene in which the cancer patient dad expresses his helplessness in telling stories to his grandson since his vocal chords no longer support him and Simran’s emotional silent outburst when she is being told that her husband is about to start his final journey.

The three hour long movie advocates non-smoking heavily and hits the smokers hard with the harsh reality of its consequences – cancer, for instance.

Vaaranam Aayiram is a deeply touching movie that brings forth several emotions at once. Every incident you see in the film will remind you of an aspect of your own life. That's how real this Gautham Menon film is. And Surya's performance is one of his best till date. Adding charm to the film are Sameera Reddy and Divya Spandana. But Simran takes away the attention from both of them with the way she carries her role.
